Biography

Katherine grew up in Mocksville, North Carolina with one older brother. Following her graduation from Davie County High School she attended The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. While at UNC-Charlotte she was an active member of Delta Zeta Sorority where she held multiple leadership positions, she was also a member of Alpha Phi Sigma, The National Criminal Justice Honors Society, and Pi Sigma Alpha, The National Political Science Honors Society. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Criminal Justice with Cum Laude Honors.

Katherine attended The University of North Carolina at Charlotte’s Continuing Education Paralegal Certification Course where she obtained her Paralegal Certification. During her studies, she completed an internship with Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department as a member of their Crimes Against Children Unit.

Outside of the office, Katherine enjoys the South End brewery scene and the multiple parks in Charlotte. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and family as well as her rescue puppy, Mobley.
