Lindley Law seeks one or more associates with 2-5 years of litigation experience to join the firm, which currently has two practicing attorneys.  At least one position is available immediately.  The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and well-qualified lawyer who is principally committed to exceptional client service.  The candidate must also have the ability to assume a waiting caseload of complex matters, draft complicated pleadings and legal memoranda in a clear and concise fashion, and be an exceptional collaborator with other members of the firm

This position requires a dynamic individual, committed to investing in the firm’s entrepreneurial philosophy, who is eager for an opportunity with unlimited earning potential.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Two to five years of experience in civil litigation;
  • Software and Internet proficiencies and ability integrate new technologies quickly;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required;
  • Proficient with Windows applications, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook;
  • High level of integrity and work ethic, including strict adherence to confidentiality in all firm matters;
  • Desire and commitment to growing the firm;
  • Able to think critically and strategically;
  • Self-directed and independently motivated to complete work and accomplish tasks;
  • Willing to participate in shared office duties and requirements;
  • Adaptable, flexible, and able to determine work priorities; and
  • Be an active member in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar.
